Para que Chico, Polanski e Abreu se já estamos atrasados o suficiente? O que foi deveria ter sido há muito tempo atrás, não faz sentido ser hoje, mas é. E eu não me reconheço mais naquilo que passou e o agora me trás dores e sensações jamais prometidas. Eu já cantei com você as letras de Chico e hoje nada mais faz sentido, pois outrora, cantávamos alegremente, como dois apaixonados, na chuva de uma avenida, no silêncio de uma igreja, na noite com intensos e incomodos vizinhos. Invejosos todos eles, pensávamos. Éramos o que queríamos ser, de 'meu guri' até 'morena de angola', e o seu 'bom conselho' para mim, enfim, nossos duetos não precisavam de mais ninguém e quando tinha outro alguém, nós é que chamávamos e queríamos. Eu percebi que esse sentido se foi, pois hoje, quando te vejo na mesma avenida, com chuva, o silêncio corta e dói, os latidos de antes incômodos são como prazeirosos momentos de vácuo. E assim nós percebemos que precisávamos desse sentir para perceber o quanto estamos solitários. E o quanto a música de 'geni' com o seu 'zepelim' hoje explica o que queremos dizer. Polanski dançava em sua película para nós. Hoje nada mais expressa. Assistir pela última vez 'O bebê de Rosemary' talvez não tenha sido uma boa escolha. Se tivesse sido 'Lua de Fel', ou ainda 'Tess' (não, essa última de dá dor nas mãos por culpa de outro alguém). Mas não, optamos pelo clássico do terror e podemos ver o demônio encarnado em nós mesmos. Como pudemos fazer isso? Matar nossos 'eus' e dar as costas a tudo aquilo que antes fazia sentido. Por isso eu disse 'deviamos ter deixado como estava!' e continuo acreditando. Passado bom é passado. E você tentou sugerir um pouco do seu repertório de Caio Fernando Abreu. Mas eu terminei de ler há poucas semanas 'onde andará dulce veiga?' e me desculpe, Abreu e você, qualquer um é capaz de decorá-lo. Quero palavras doces, verdadeiras, sinceras. Não gostaria de palavras repetidas e que venham de seu 'decoreba'. E hoje não quero nem as doces, verdadeiras e sinceras. Não faço questão da sua palavra. Perdemos o trem das quinze para as duas. E não há outra viação que faça o mesmo caminho. E estou indo para outra direção. E quem sabe, um dia, nossas conduções não se choquem por aí? Só não se esqueça: as coisas perdem o sentido. E o atraso perde as coisas.
